Where We Started

David Haraburda Aka David Delski

After the closure of Bob’s Foodland, longtime meat department manager David Haraburda, started Delski’s Prime Meats in 2004. Over the next decade, Delski’s became a hidden gem in the Grand Rapids area. David still gets his meat at Delski’s and always bumps into someone he knows. 

He is known to put on an apron here and there, but is really enjoying getting back to work on his collection of cars. 

Meet Mike

Mike moved to Michigan from Chicago in 2012 with his wife Heather. They bought Delski’s from Dave in 2016 with the plan to expand the business. With a background in hospitality, they have always tried to focus on the customer. More space, more choices, and more convenience.  

Mike and Heather have 2 future sausage makers, Matthew 8 and Benjamin 6. When Mike is not at the shop, he spends his time getting easily distracted by his many hobbies.

    Awesome selection of sausage and brats. I picked up a few of my favorites: weisse brats, Irish bangers and some others. Next trip I am looking forward to some steaks. Everything is so good.

    Love the brats! We have had brats all over in GR and these continue to be the best! So flavorful and so much cheese! Had the green pepper and onion yesterday and they were amazing, with cheddar too! If you haven’t, get the brats!

  • Absolutely loved the brisket and pulled pork. Came in here for lunch and grabbed a potato salad to pair them with. I'm mad at myself for not checking them out sooner. I guess they have warm options around noon and 6pm 👌

    Excellent customer service. They were so nice to us when we walked in the door. Michelle was so awesome and sweet. Very patient lady ( we were undecided about everything lol) but she was so sweet and understanding. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE 👌 👍 👏 😀 GO GO GO

  • I stongly encourage everyone to stop here and get some food or something food is so good. Hot food to go and even their jerky and snack sticks are really good. I was amazed they had hot fresh Golembki ready to go and good prices i thought. I will definately stop here again and if you pass this place up im sorry to say but your a fool. Thank You for the great service Delski's.

    Great place to shop! Excellent meats! Variety of Jerky and Brats! The most delicious potato salad. I could go on and on, give them a try and develop your favorites, you'll be hooked once you go.
