MEET MIKE

Mike moved to Michigan from Chicago in 2012 with his wife Heather. They bought Delski’s from Dave in 2016 with the plan to expand the business. With a background in hospitality, they have always tried to focus on the customer. More space, more choices, and more convenience.
Mike and Heather have 2 future sausage makers, Matthew 9 and Benjamin 7. When Mike is not at the shop, he spends his time getting easily distracted by his many hobbies.

Where we started

DAVID HARABURDA

a.k.a. David Delski

After the closure of Bob’s Foodland, longtime meat department manager, David Haraburda, started Delski’s Prime Meats in 2004. Over the next decade, Delski’s became a hidden gem in the Grand Rapids area. David still gets his meat at Delski’s and always bumps into someone he knows.

He is known to put on an apron here and there, but is really enjoying getting back to work on his collection of cars.

The good stuff. Tons of different flavors of sausage. Fresh sides and deli meats. Peppered bacon is a must. Great friendly staff. It's a better quality meat than what you'll get from a grocery store so expect to pay a little more. But it's definitely worth it.
